Olimpia Bellanova is an Italian artist who creates collages featuring photos and pictures from retro books and magazines and using a variety of techniques including zentangle, embroidery and mixed media. She also creates handmade hats and bags, with unmistakable, original Italian style.

Originally from Verona, Italy, Olimpia started playing with art as a teenager, first focusing on refashioning of clothing and creating handmade jewelry. Olimpia's passion eventually manifested into her own studio where she did tailoring and created clothing and bags. Her customers would bring her "boring" clothes, which she would then transform into unique pieces, each one one-of-a-kind. She worked as a window dresser, winning a prize for "Art and Imagination" and also owned an Italian restaurant for ten years before moving to Australia in 2012.

It was here that Olimpia approached the technique of collage in which she discovered a whole new world.
